Will Porsche be putting out a new supercar?

Two viewpoints:

“This rendering is very unique, but also seems to follow a strategy that has been going well for Porsche lately. Its profile is a blend of a stretched G37 and a Bugatti Veyron, with a dash of P4/P5 Italian spark thrown in. The headlights sweep up and back, kind of like a flattened Cayenne face. The rear deck looks a little long for a front-engined car, so perhaps we can hope for a well balanced mid-engined chassis.”

“For a car in the supercar genre, it certainly is very different. Proportions wise and design wise it’s unlike anything we have ever seen, while still remaining unmistakably Porsche in its overall look. I would say the proportions could use tweaking (from some angles it looks like a toy car). Supercars are supposed to be outrageous, and this (unnamed) design definitely doesn’t disappoint in doing that.”
